Vincent J. Kambe, a native of Southern California, received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Pre-Physical Therapy from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in 2004. He then went on to complete his doctorate in Physical Therapy from Azusa Pacific University in 2007.

While at Azusa Pacific his education provided him the ability to refine his physical therapy techniques. His training included clinical rotations in an orthopedic setting, acute care at a trauma one hospital, and pediatric care.

Since graduation, Vincent’s concentration has been focused in orthopedics. His passion for health and wellness and a deep desire to help people has inspired him to further his education. Vincent is a twice published author in "The Journal of Applied Research" on the subject of diet and exercise. Community involvement is also a priority, as he gives numerous public lectures and has been involved with fundraisers for the arthritis foundation and breast cancer awareness. Ian has been with Movement for Life Physical Therapy since earning his Doctorate in 2016. He spent two years in the San Luis Obispo area before moving out to the Coachella Valley.

Ian recently earned his board certification in orthopedics, a designation that less than 6% of physical therapists nationally obtain. Ian is also certified in blood flow restriction training (BFR) which is a modality that aims to speed up recovery and muscle growth. Since moving to the desert region, Ian has started to enjoy golfing. In order to better serve the residents of the Coachella Valley and the many golfers, Ian is also working on certification through the Titleist Performance Institute. Outside of the clinic, Ian enjoys going to the beach to bodysurf, hiking, watching sports, and has embraced the local sports of golf and pickleball. Ian lives in La Quinta with his beautiful wife Nicole. Ian believes in treating the whole person and that there are many factors that can play a role in someone’s recovery. Front Office Manager

Hello, my name is Kathrine. Friends and family call me Katie.

I have lived here in the beautiful desert all my life.

I’ve been with Movement for life for 13 going on 14 years. I started as an aide and now I’m currently the front office manager.

I enjoy being a Mom the most to my two kids. I also recently got engaged as well and we plan on growing our family as well.

I enjoy hiking in the beautiful desert mountains and trails.

I love being around family and friends and barbequing. I enjoy going to concerts and shows as well but nothing compares to the love I have for sports. We attend Dodger games regularly and even go out of the state for them. I think that is what draws me the most also to physical therapy. Movement is always involved and important. I plan on being here for the next 14 years to come.

  • I love movement for life! Sadly I didn’t get to finish the amount of time I was supposed to be there. Though I will say in my time being there they had helped me grow both physically & mentally, and not just my therapist but the friendly staff. This place is truely amazing and I will forever love it & the people that work in it . :)

    Movement for Life

    Ian and Angie:

With yesterday being my “final” day, I want to thank you both for collaborating with me these many months in making a full recovery from left hip replacement surgery, October 2020.
When Movement for Life was first mentioned to me by a friend, I was in a very discouraged frame of mind; I thought I would not be able to regain the strength I wanted and needed to play tennis and golf and enjoy physical activity.
    You changed all that.
It was not an easy course of action, but usually in life, anything worthwhile never is “easy.”
I will continue with the several exercises you both engrained in me – there is no question each workout leaves me in a much better frame of mind each day I accomplish the routine.
Thank you – most sincerely - for your work.
    Kind regards –
    Dennis
