Britney Grayson
Assistant Director- PT, DPT
Britney grew up on the Central Coast beginning her education at Cuesta Community College, then transferred to Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo obtaining her degree in Kinesiology. She pursued her dream of becoming a Physical Therapist at University of New England in Portland, Maine.
Before attending graduate school, she worked as a physical therapy aide for Movement for Life Physical Therapy, known then as San Luis Sports Therapy. It was during her time there that she knew she wanted to return to the Central Coast and begin her career working for a company that shared her morals and values. Her passion is working within orthopedics and improving her manual skills to help others. Outside of work, she enjoys playing soccer, hiking, and spending time with her dog.

Jacquelyn Kemp
PT, DPT
Jaci grew up in the Bay Area before heading to southern California to attend San Diego State University. While studying kinesiology at SDSU, she began volunteering at a physical therapy clinic, and it was through her experience with volunteering that Jaci found her passion for physical therapy.
After graduating from SDSU, she began her doctorate of physical therapy program at the University of St. Augustine. Jaci became an official DPT in December 2011 and returned to the Bay Area to begin working as a physical therapist in San Jose. She is now living on the Central Coast and is excited to continue her physical therapy career with Movement for Life Physical Therapy. Outside of her professional role, Jaci enjoys staying active, being outdoors, hiking, snowboarding, and spending time with family, friends, and her adorable dog.

Stephanie Ruiz
Front Office Manager
Stephanie was born in Redlands, CA, raised here on the beautiful Central Coast, and calls Santa Maria, CA home since an early adolescent age. She has been working and providing for herself since she graduated high school in 2013. With many different positions, she has always been a hard worker reaching above and beyond taking any opportunity given to her and running with it. She started working for Movement for Life Physical Therapy, known then as San Luis Sports Therapy, in 2018 in the Arroyo Grande office, and let her hard work speak for itself. Stephanie is now the front office manager for our clinic in Santa Maria. She focuses on making sure patients are receiving the care they deserve and keeping the office in order. After making sure everything runs smoothly at work, Stephanie is an amazing mother to her daughter, and she enjoys going on hikes, cooking, and spending time with her family.
Matthew Lindsey
PTA
Matthew was born and raised in Clovis, CA where early on a main focus in his life was sports. Playing basketball and football from a young age all the way through to Fresno State he quickly developed a passion for physical therapy and the rehabilitation process after injuries. He then started to pursue a career in personal training which led him to the central coast. It was always a dream of his to plant roots here at the beach. Matt then became a Physical Therapy Aide at Team Movement for Life which served as the foundation for his continued education at San Juan College to obtain his Physical Therapy Assistant degree and license. He has a passion for healing and treating patients to help them live the best life they can.
Outside of work he lives an overall active life enjoying hikes, playing basketball, surfing, and enjoys spending time with his family.

Jonathan Grisanti
Clinic Director- PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS
Jonathan received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Northern Arizona University in 2017 and then completed an Orthopedic Residency in 2018 to become a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Sports and performance has been an area of focus with a particular emphasis on ACL injuries. He is passionate about helping his patients reach their goals. To stay up to date on the most recent techniques and research, Jonathan has become certified in Blood Flow Restriction and regularly attends courses to learn the updated research. Jonathan has been working with local sports teams and does regular community lectures to better educate individuals on healthy sports participation.
During undergraduate studies at The Master’s University, Jonathan studied Kinesiology and Physical Education with an emphasis in Pre-Physical Therapy. He graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2014.
Jonathan first became passionate about physical therapy after injuring his knee in high school basketball. He is dedicated to helping people live life without the burden of pain and physical limitations by using evidence-based practice and compassionate care.
In his free time, Jonathan loves camping, backpacking, playing sports, trying new things, and spending time with his wife, family, and friends.
