Her love and desire for physical therapy developed at a young age. After her father fell during construction work he brought Rocio to his physical therapy sessions and after months of therapy, it was there that she watched as he regained functional mobility of his elbow and hip and ultimately re-learned how to walk.
Through this experience she was able to realize the benefits of physical therapy and sought to be a part of the health care system that aids in the recovery of many. To this day, her father still states that if it were not for physical therapy, he would not have recovered as well as he did. Rocio enjoys living an active lifestyle. I have a very painful arm and shoulder that has steadily gotten worse in the last few weeks. Having been to Movement for Life twice before in years past when it was Athlon Physical Therapy, I requested physical therapy from them through a doctor. The experience is already very helpful. The therapists are very knowledgeable, kind, insightful, and professional. Although we are presently awaiting the results of an MRI that they suggested I get, they have helped my mobility and pain in the meantime and given me helpful things to do at home to further assist my pain and mobility. Whatever the diagnosis, they have helped me each time. The 1st problem was falling due to vertigo, the second series of visits was for something pulled in my hip from lifting something too heavy from a sitting position without the assistance of my hands. Both outcomes of those two series of visits was successful recovery. I can enthusiastically recommend Movement for Life for a positive experience/healing.Cate
